Expert-intensive flows
Critical trade-offs and layout decisions depend on experienced analog/RF designers.
VegamIC combines deep analog and RF design expertise with design-informed automation to accelerate custom integrated circuit development—from specifications to layout and tapeout.
Analog and RF IC design demands expertise at every turn. Circuit sizing, process corners, layout parasitics and verification create tightly coupled iteration loops.
Our answer is not to remove the engineer from the process. It is to make expert design decisions more repeatable, bringing automation to the work that slows custom-silicon execution.

Optimisation and verification span multiple design domains and interacting constraints.
Design migration across technologies often requires repeated engineering work.
VegamIC integrates reusable design knowledge, simulation-driven optimisation and constraint-aware layout generation—while expert engineers retain control of key design choices and sign-off.

Checks and tapeout-ready design output
From focused RF building blocks to integrated design programmes, our capabilities are geared towards semiconductor teams seeking specialised analog/RF execution.
Specification-driven design of analog, RF and wireless building blocks, supported by deep circuit expertise.
Design-informed sizing, simulation and exploration of circuit-performance trade-offs.
Constraint-driven physical layout with attention to matching, symmetry and parasitic effects.
Analysis across PVT conditions, mismatch and robustness metrics, with expert-led design closure.
VegamIC's work builds on research in analog/RF schematic and layout automation, with receiver-design and RF DAC outputs taken through tapeout.

Automation-generated BLE/Wi-Fi receiver chip layouts have progressed through tapeout. An RF DAC tapeout was also completed using the same automation flow.
Tapeout is a fabrication-submission milestone and does not, by itself, imply measured silicon validation.
